Walking Through Ningyocho: A Nihonbashi Neighborhood Part 2

現役美大生のクリエーティブ集団・ヒラヤマにて
今年よりインターンとして働いております 高橋理緒です。
本日は、前回に引き続き人形町についてです！
今回は「街の中の食」をテーマにご紹介できたらと思います。
老舗の飲食店や和菓子屋と、チェーン店が自然に共存している人形町。
甘酒横丁から少し進んだ浜町緑道の一角には、ハンバーガーショップ「ブラザーズ」があります。
店名の通り、アメリカンポップな雰囲気の店内には、兄弟を連想させるポスターがたくさん貼られていて、アメリカのローティーンになった気分でした！
今回は定番のハンバーガーセットをいただきました。
パテは、アメリカで食べたことのあるワイルドな味を思い出すような一品で、とても美味しかったです。
ポテトは私史上いちばんカリッとしていて、これもまた絶品でした！！
そして個人的にいちばん印象的だったのは、お店の方が朝にボランティアで周辺の掃除をされているということです。
お店だけでなく、その周りの空間も大切にされている感じがして、街の一部として自然に溶け込んでいるように感じました。
こういうお店があるからこそ、人形町の雰囲気ってつくられているのかもしれません。
ヒラヤマのオフィスの周辺にも、こうした面白い場所がたくさんあります！
これからも少しずつ、この街の魅力をお届けしていけたらと思います。
Today, I’d like to continue introducing Ningyocho, following up on my previous post!
This time, I’ll be focusing on the theme of “food in the city.”
In Ningyocho, long-established restaurants and traditional Japanese sweets shops coexist naturally with chain stores, creating a unique atmosphere.
A short walk from Amazake Yokocho, along a corner of Hamacho Ryokudo, you’ll find a hamburger shop called “BROZERS’.”
True to its name, the interior has an American pop vibe, with posters that evoke a sense of brotherhood—it almost felt like stepping into the world of American teens.
This time, I ordered their classic hamburger set.
The patty had a bold, hearty flavor that reminded me of burgers I’ve had in the U.S.—absolutely delicious.
And the fries were the crispiest I’ve ever had, which made them just as amazing!
What stood out to me the most, though, was that the staff volunteer to clean the surrounding area in the mornings.
It felt like they truly care not only about their shop, but also about the space around it—blending naturally into the neighborhood as part of the community.
Maybe it’s places like this that shape the atmosphere of Ningyocho.
Around Hirayama’s office as well, there are many spots like this waiting to be discovered.
I hope to keep sharing more of this neighborhood’s charm little by little!
