“You’re the One Who Started It!”
「ふっかけたのは そっちだろ！」
現役美大生のクリエーティブ集団・ヒラヤマ（本社:東京都中央区/代表取締役:平山雅一）です。
ヒラヤマお向かいのギャラリー「Gallery TK2」（東京都中央区）では、2024年11月3日(日)まで「ふっかけたのは そっちだろ！」という企画が催されています。
ヒラヤマに多数学生が関わる東京藝術大学は、日本で唯一の総合芸術大学です。美術学部に加えて音楽学部があり、通りを挟んで向かいに校舎があります。
この「通りを挟んで」というところが、なかなか互いの学部の交流が少ない、とも言われているゆえんで、そのあたりをテーマにした催しがこの「ふっかけたのは そっちだろ！」です。
東京藝術大学の「作曲科」の学生から挑戦状がたたきつけられ、受けてたった美術学部の学生は…
会場には作曲科の学生による音楽作品が楽譜で展示されており、「受けてたった」美術学部は作品掲出で応じています。
また、2024年11月2日(土)には演奏会もあるとか…。
We are HIRAYAMA, a creative collective of current art university students, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo (Representative Director: Masakazu Hirayama).
Right across the street from us, at Gallery TK2 (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a special exhibition titled “You’re the One Who Started It!” is being held through Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Tokyo University of the Arts, where many HIRAYAMA-affiliated students study, is Japan’s only comprehensive arts university. In addition to the Faculty of Fine Arts, it also has a Faculty of Music—with the two faculties located across the street from one another.
Ironically, this “across the street” setup has long symbolized the limited interaction between the two faculties. This exhibition tackles exactly that theme.
It all began with a challenge thrown down by a student from the Department of Composition—
and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts rose to meet it.
At the venue, you’ll find musical compositions by Composition students presented as sheet music,
while the Fine Arts students respond with visual artworks.
We’ve also heard there will be a live performance on Saturday, November 2, 2024…!
